We stared with a little dog walk to prep (empty) them for the drive.

We randomly pulled off the main road and followed a sign we thought was for a wood to stop for lunch.

Turned out to was Erddig House en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erdd…

We had a nice walk around the estate but didn’t pay to get in. You can get a reasonable view of the house through a beautiful gateway though 👍

Then we blasted on to Newton to stop in the car park next to a river and large park. Bailey is happy as the squirrel was up the tree next to the van when we got back from our walk 🐿️🌲👍

And over dinner we made friends with a crow.

BAM passed his MOT! That’s 6 years in a row for a 21 year old van. He’s a good boy.

So hopefully tomorrow we are off to Wales to watch weather and make some more memories.

Getting the Roadtrek ready for its annual MOT safety inspection on Tuesday is always a little nerve wracking as he is 21 years old now. This will be the 12th he has gone through with us.

We’ve also got a trip planned and we hope to leave asap after it. Hopefully he is ok and we don’t need to obtain parts from the other side of the Atlantic to make him better🤞
